When Jamie Siddons was appointed for Bangladesh national cricket team, some people in Australia said, Australian cricket needed him. Australian age level teams will suffer because of his absence. They directly said, Australian cricket is a victim of brain drain.
That may be one of few cases where a developed country is suffering. In most cases undeveloped countries like Bangladesh are suffering.
Especially US is absorbing talents from all over the world.
Md. Zafar Iqbal is a famous academic and a very popular writer in Bangladesh. He had very lucrative job offers abroad. But he came back to Bangladesh. His fans say, he came back because, he believes he has a moral responsibility for his country. He got the opportunity to study in educational institutions in almost free of cost. He needs to pay back.
But he says, he came back simply because he was homesick.
We can say most of the academics of developing countries are not homesick!
Commonsense is not common to all. See below.
I was little surprised to see this new 2 Taka coin last month.
It has Sheikh Mujibur Rahman (Founder president of Bangladesh) on one side. Almost like new 1 Taka coin. Difference is in its size. I hope many of you have already seen this.
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s photo was used on Bangladeshi notes for the first time after the liberation of Bangladesh, when he was in power.

Bangladeshis consume much more rice than they needed. As economy is progressing slowly here in Bangladesh, may be it is time to think about other foods to avoid malnutrition. Only carbohydrate rich food may not be enough for a man.
Demand of rice has fallen in Japan when per capita income was increased.
This is a 5 paisa coin of Pakistan which was used before 1971.

It is interesting that three languages are used here; English, Bangla and Urdu. Because Bangla and Urdu were the language of majority in East Pakistan and West Pakistan respectively. Both were state language of Pakistan at that time. This was a result of a bloody language movement in then East Pakistan which led to separation of Pakistan eventually in 1971.
As I reside in city and not a student of botany, I am not so familiar with trees. I think I was very lucky to watch this pea-pod when I got it from bazaar. See below.
